Settlement
Settlement is the process that finalizes a contract — paying winners on a prediction market, delivering underlying on a dated future, or exchanging funding on a perpetual. For binaries, settlement maps to a winning outcome (for example Up vs Down).
How AymarData records it
GET /v1/settlement returns resolution payloads for supported markets (notably Polymarket and Kalshi series as available). Backtests should score positions against settlement rather than last mid alone. See Polymarket and Kalshi data hubs for coverage.
